Today, travel to Roots Country Market near Manheim, home of the oldest single family-run country market in Lancaster County.  It began as a poultry auction in 1925, but over the years it has become a piece of Lancaster County heritage.  There’s something for everyone at Root’s . . . produce, fresh meats, deli, bakery items, flowers, handmade crafts, antiques, collectibles and household items.  Sample the local cuisine, chat with the standholders and gather “goodies” before leaving for lunch (included) at Shady Maple Smorgasbord.  Following lunch, visit the Shady Maple Gift Shop.  Here you find unique gift items, wooden furniture made by Amish craftsmen, collectibles, clocks, Hometowne collectibles, dolls, glassware, Fentonware, crockery, souvenirs, handmade items, craft supplies, silk flowers, cards and so much more!

Coach leaves Shady Maple Smorgasbord and Gift Shop at 3:45 P.M.  You arrive in York at approximately 4:45 P.M. and Hanover at 5:30 P.M.
